It recreated my system to the state it was prior to the problem. The animated Windows logo showed up, and then I got a black screen. or any other problems like this? anymore suggestion? just kidding I'm one too!! But this is how it looks for me (I have multiple users on this computer so I just went to into the user's files and selected which ever files I wanted If you don't have original Vista DVD.
