Changed it and now it's back to user friendly. I don't find this confusing or rude at all. how do i safely clean it? Not sure if it was because the drive was secondary master or just gone. There are more, but I have removed them during my last clean up. The same thing just happened in Firefox 44.0 on my Windows 7 computer, except that in this case the crash report was submitted.
Windows was certainly sending me stern (and scary) messages. If I could be sure of its safety, I'd go back to it. If you can't get it to boot from CD, just give up and call for support or take your computer to the nearest computer store for professional help. I'll have a look at your other suggestions too. It happens virtually every time. It could also be that a virus got into your MBR in which case this should help too.
However, my computer only tends to crash during certain times, at other times it is fine. I'm going to look up the crash signatures and see if I can learn anything from them.
