Consider swapping hardware if there's no BSOD. If safe mode won't boot reboot and f8 select the don't auto reboot. Doesn't seem as if you see that screen.In the meantime I'll see if there is some different approach to this, although it doesn't sound too promising.Always pop back and let us Pity but the freeze tells us nothing.From everything you've said a Windows problem seems most likely and I agree with #19 that the repair option looks like the best way forward.Always
